GRC #592

Our cabin is just exactly what we had hoped for. It is comfortable, attractive, and practical. Friends who have visited have been amazed at the engineering and planning. It lives so much bigger than it is.

You guys went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that  everything worked as it was supposed to, and we really appreciate it.

Because our land is prominently visible from a state park and a conservation area popular for hiking, we wanted our cabin to be hidden as much as possible from the hikers, yet provide us great views of these peaks. Remarkably, we got the great views we wanted, and yet still have a hard time finding our cabin from on top of Snake Mountain. The brown roof and natural exterior really do make the cabin seem "hidden" in the woods. Attached is a picture we took a few weeks ago from the top of Snake Mountain looking at our land. If you look at the "Southerland Valley" picture, there is a small peak right in the center of the picture. Our property is just above and to the left of that peak, and has about 4 acres in pasture. You can see two apple trees in the middle of the pasture, but not the cabin in the upper left hand corner of the pasture area.

For years we enjoyed camping on our mountain property, but as the kids grew up and I grew older, the idea of plumbing, electricity, and climate control grew more appealing. With the cabin, we feel like we get all the benefits of camping in terms of being in close quarters with the kids in a beautiful place, but with all the luxuries we want such as warm air, plumbing, refrigerators, and hot water.

Thanks to all the folks at Green River Cabins for their commitment to quality. A neighbor came by the other day who is a builder and said he had never seen a moveable unit built as well as ours. He marveled at the engineering and craftsmanship. He noted that our cabin would be around for a long, long time into the future.

The cabin has been wonderful to have this fall, and we have already made some great memories. It is just what we hoped for. And as I said before, everyone we worked with really was first class in all communications and work on the cabin.

Sincerely,
