GREEN RIVER CABINS - COMPANY HISTORY

Joe Hamlin, President and General Manager of Green River Cabins: Joe
has a long and varied background in construction. Beginning with his 25
years on the family dairy farm in North Carolina, under the guidance of his father, he
learned the basics of carpentry and related trades. After vowing that he
had spent his last day looking at the north end of south bound cows, he
packed up and moved to Alaska where he spent most of the next 12 years. During
that time he expanded upon his construction experience in a variety of
endeavors, including work at a remote platinum mine, owning and renovating small
apartment complexes, constructing and repairing buildings on his Kenai Peninsula
homestead and ultimately as a construction superintendent for a major oil
company in Prudhoe Bay.
Joe started Green River Cabins in 1996 and has seen his business flourish.
Of his operation, Joe says "We believe that our marriage of modern
methods and old fashioned craftsmanship are essential components in the
production of cabins that are at once thoroughly modern and distinctively
traditional."
Green River Cabins has its sales and manufacturing facilities in Campobello,
South Carolina. The company delivers direct to your location, anywhere
east of the Mississippi River.
